How to get to Vitoria-Gasteiz
Vitoria-Gastiez is a very well connected city in terms of road, train and air transport, both with the rest of Spain and Europe.
Below, you can see the different ways to get to the city:
By car
You can reach Vitoria-Gasteiz by taking the A-1 o AP-1 if your coming from Madrid or San Sebastián, or the A-68 if coming from Barcelona or Bilbao. These motorways have direct exits to the city. Plan your trip HERE!

By plane
VITORIA-GASTEIZ AIRPORT (VIT):
Vitoria-Gasteiz airport, also known as Foronda airport, is located 9 km from the city.
It has a bus service that connects the airport with the city center. More information about special buses to and from the airport.

BILBAO AIRPORT (BIO):
You can also fly to Bilbao airport, known as Loiu airport, which has very good connections to Vitoria-Gasteiz.

It is very easy to get from Bilbao airport to Vitoria-Gasteiz. You can take the A3247 city bus (Bizkaibus company) that leaves you at the Bilbao Bus Station. More information about the special line to and from the airport.
Once at the Bilbao bus station, you have to buy a ticket for the bus that will take you to Vitoria-Gasteiz in about an hour. You can check the different options on the website of the operator La Unión.
By bus
All buses arrive at the station at Plaza de Euskaltzaindia. Its address is Plaza de Euskaltzaindia, s/n 01010, and its telephone number is 945 16 16 66.
The bus companies operating in the city are: Alsa, Bilman Bus, Continental Auto, Eurobus, Alegría Hnos, Grupo Alsa-Enatcar, Grupo Arriaga, La Burundés SA, La unión, Pesa, Socitransa, Vivaza.
Once in Vitoria, you can get to the city center by cab or by streetcar on line T2. To get to the festival site, city buses are the best option.
By train
If you like to travel by train, coming to Vitoria by this means of transport is very pleasant. Enjoy the landscapes of Alava while you approach the capital of Euskadi.

How to get to the festival site
To go to Mendizabala by day
There are two lines that connect the different points of the city with the festival site:
- Lines BEI (a and b) stop Mendizorrotza. Line L8 stop Portal de Lasarte.
- Lines BEI b and L8 connect the Vitoria-Gasteiz bus station with Mendizabala.
To go to Mendizabala by night
The Gautxori G3 line with stop at c/Castilla, 80 near the festival site will take you to different parts of the city.
