The 3rd edition of MEO KALORAMA ended in a festive mood with BurnaBoy’s afrobeats and RAYE’s live debut in Portugal on the MEO Stage,DJ GLUE and SHAKA LION’s B2B on the San Miguel Stage, Yves Tumoron the new Lisbon Stage and DJ Python’s set on the Panorama Stage.
The festival returns to Parque da Bela Vista in 2025, reinforcing its partnership with MEO.
It was three days of communion, of a story that is being written year after year under the commitment to the excellence of the line-up, the visual arts and sustainability. MEO KALORAMA 2024 closes its 3rd edition to the sound of Burna Boy, DJ GLUE B2B SHAKA LION duo, Yves Tumor and DJ Python and promises to return in 2025 on dates to be announced soon. In line with the two previous editions, MEO KALORAMA continues to be home to several nationalities. As well as national audiences from all over the country, the United Kingdom, Spain, Germany, Italy and the United States are some of the countries of origin of the foreign visitors who have once again chosen Lisbon to celebrate music.
The 10 moments that marked the 3rd edition of MEO KALORAMA
1. A reunion with Massive Attack in a concert that went far beyond the music and invited theaudience to reflect on the world.
2. A celebration of love, freedom and music at Sam Smith's concert.
3. The concert that Jungle needed for their breakthrough in Portuga
4. Bela Vista Park transformed into a huge open-air dance floor for the thrilling reunion with LCD Soundsystem
5. Olivia Dean arrived as a great promise and left as the festival's biggest revelation.
6. RAYE's live debut in Portugal, which captivated the audience and showed why she is the most awarded artist ever at the BRIT Awards.
7. The art of the MEO and San Miguel Stages in a MEO KALORAMA x Underdogs + Ephemeral Eternal partnership.
8. The increased investment in sustainability that reduced environmental impacts and enhanced inclusivity.
9. The Panorama Stage where people danced from the opening to the closing of the doors in an enchanted club-bosque over three days.
10. The new Lisbon Stage celebrated the relationship with Lisbon, the people of Lisbon and the community around Parque da Bela Vista. The artist LS, from Chelas, was responsible for the art that brought this stage to life.
